Thought of the day-“Better to see something once, than to hear about it a thousand times.”-Asian Proverb

Welcome to Uluwatu Temple where first timers will get to see the monkeys and for repeat visitors, welcome home to their home. While there is another famous location to see some notorious monkeys (Ubud Monkey Forest), Uluwatu Temple does have some ‘clever’ monkeys too. Go and see one for yourself and you will feel like playing ‘Catch Me If You Can’ game with the monkeys, that is if you are not being careful enough. Try catching them to get your sunny back!

Thought of the day-“I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stifled. I want all the cultures of all lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible.”-Mohandas K.Gandhi

Travel further up north or perhaps to the west of Bali, escaping that touristy and busy roads of Kuta and Denpasar, one may see drastic change in Bali’s landscape. There’s more green, beautiful villages and most friendliest people on earth, the Balinese. Ask any seasoned traveller about their preferred regency to stay in Bali, they will pin point Ubud or further north while some curios and curious travellers will opt to venture the west side, probably continuing their journey to Java via Gilimanuk and Ketapang. Amazing Bali of Indonesia but surprisingly Trump’s name is widely being mentioned here, not because of him being Mr.President but for he is about to contradict himself. That’s how I see it, from my perspective, a frequent traveller to Bali.

Thought of the day: “Bargaining has neither friends neither relations.”-Benjamin Franklin

This particular traveller is freaking stubborn. His name is @Lan, he just love challenges especially when it comes to showing his ability to make sellers go for his words. Simply put, he claimed to ably bargain for a cut of more than 80% quoted by sellers. It was at Tegallang, Bali that I saw this beautiful rice terraces and decided that we made a short stop. @Lan on the other hand saw one particular souvenir shop that he decided to bargain for things, souvenirs for some friends. Tegallalang is definitely not a place to shop for souvenirs, the prices are ridiculous but @Lan was determined to implement his art of bargaining. In his wallet, IDR 200,000 (USD15).

It took some time for @joehairie to finally gave in his ‘piece’ of his mind about Bali. Bali is like our second home. We made a point that we must visit Bali at least once a year. It’s a beautiful place with so many good foods, amazing culture and nice people. After so many visits to this mystical land, he recently told me about his inner thoughts, his Déjà vu and I decided that I must write about that. Writing about our ‘tour’ is something common and people do that all the time, all of em’ are in google. We want to write things about Bali, differently. I experienced the presence of an entity and Joe on the other hand experienced the thing named as  Déjà vu.

Do you believe in the existence of entity? Let me share my personal experience close to encountering such thing in Bali, Indonesia. One fine Thursday Evening, I was having my coffee at Starbucks, Discovery Mall in Kuta. I was alone as Joe was attending an appointment with a potential business partner. I remember it was exactly 9.30 pm when I got myself seated and was just starting to enjoy my Latte when suddenly I saw big groups of people (mostly local) start walking towards different directions. Motorcycles were here and there on the road.
