Located at the highest floor of the tallest hotel in Kota Kinabalu, Mercure Hotel Kota Kinabalu City Centre re-introduces its star outlet, Compass as the new place to enjoy lifestyle experience.
With the capacity of over 100 persons, this Lifestyle Lounge has both an enclosed, air conditioned space with floor to ceiling glass windows. If you prefer being outdoors, there is an open air section with a laid back dining layout that spoils you with spectacular views of the ocean while you enjoy your favorite beverage.
Compass is known to provide one of the best places in the city to relax and unwind, while you take in the breath-taking views of the city and shimmering South China Sea. It also makes an ideal location to host a private or corporate event with an extensive range of food and beverage packages that can be tailor made to suit your needs.
In line with the launching of The Lifestyle Lounge, a special menu with signature dishes have been added to enhance this new theme. The must try signature dish is the Pan Seared Scallop, a pan fried scallop dish, served with cream of scallion, balsamic and chili oil: which will definitely please the taste palate of many.
With 310 rooms and suites, Mercure Hotel Kota Kinabalu City Centre is strategically located in the city, within steps to the waterfront that offers ferry facilities, bringing you to the nearby Islands of Tuanku Abdul Rahman Park. The hotel is about 15-minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
Apart from the Compass which is located on the roof top (25th floor-same level as the outdoor swimming pool), the hotel offers wide choice of dining experiences in its other three food and beverage outlets. The gym is located on the 24th floor.
