Serenity is perhaps the best word to describe our priceless experience while staying for 3 days and 2 nights at Resorts World Langkawi. The view was absolutely amazing and we wouldn’t trade our experience for anything in the world. Everything was perfect to a point that we failed to find a single, micro, tiny flaw. We enjoyed every minute we spent at the resort. It is indeed one of the best resorts in Langkawi.

Getting to Langkawi

The easiest way to get to Langkawi is by opting for air transportation. Several airlines serve Langkawi International Airport. The airport is located at 06°19′47″N 099°43′43″E, 29 feet (9 meters) above sea level, on the south-western part of the island. Its IATA airport code is LGK and ICAO code is WMKL. In addition, ferry service links Langkawi Island with Kuala Perlis, Kuala Kedah, Georgetown, Penang as well as Satun and Ko Lipe in Thailand. Here are some useful and related links:

Mahsuri’s Masoleum

Field of Burnt Rice

“When a battle broke out between Siam and Langkawi at Pancur Straits, Dato Kemboja, as chief of the Langkawi army felt that they might fall into the enemy’s hand. Immediately he sent a messenger to Padang Mat Sirat to get all the Village Folks to collect all their paddy harvest to a place and burn them.  They dug a hole in the ground and put all the collected paddy into it. This was done so that the Siamese would not be able to get hold of the paddy which would be the main source of supply to get a foothold in Langkawi Island. From this incident, until now, there are still traces of burnt rice which can be clearly seen from Ku Halim Ku Hassan’s house.”

Pantai Cenang

Pantai Cenang is a long beautiful curved stretch of sand and it is Langkawi’s most popular area that houses local and international eateries, duty-free shopping complexes and luxury resorts.

Our Thoughts

Our 3 days 2 nights stay at Resorts World Langkawi was amazing. It’s an unforgettable experience; it’s priceless. The products in the resort were exceptional and are of high quality. Most importantly, we felt the presence of tranquility and calmness every time we’re seated at the Waterfront Boardwalk; a place that offers picturesque surroundings; especially that awesome turqoise, clear blue water.

The resort is located not that far from Pantai Cenang, a place that we love so much! Though it’s a bit touristically developed, it does offer interesting things for visitors, especially yum foods! We went to Pantai Cenang in the evening and it was an interesting visit.

The activities outside the resort were equally interesting, especially the zipline experience at Umgawa Legendary EcoAdventures. There were 12 ziplines, 3 Sky Bridges and 1 thrilling abseil descent! The trip to Sky Bridge via SkyCab Langkawi was amazing. Thought it’s the second time we’re there, we still think that the attraction is worth to visit!

The Sunset Cruise was one of the best short cruises we went on board. We were able to have amazing view of the sea as well as the sunset. The free flow of foods and beverages were great, pretty much ensuring that no one’s thirsty or hungry!
