It is a cafe located on the roadside, not belonging to any of 5 star properties. We were here twice, this is our third visit. We’re here to break fast or to have our Iftar. Yes, we were invited but as most have known already, we are two stubborn writers. We do stick to our honest opinions and we write things, as we see it, not by what others have seen. This is Garage Kafe, a cafe that is increasingly becoming quite popular among diners in Kota Kinabalu city. Our break fast session at Garage Kafe was one of the best Sungkai in Ramadhan Month 2017.

We recently had our Iftar at Dreamtel Cafe, Dreamtel Kota Kinabalu. This hotel is located in the city center, next to Padang Bandaran. The buffet price is RM60 nett per adult and RM30 nett per child. We do think that the price is reasonable and we recommend this place for your next Iftar. Do note that the Ramadan Buffet Dinner is from 2 June 2017 to 18 June 2017 only, on weekends (Friday to Saturday). This week is their final week for the Ramadan Buffet Dinner therefore we do encourage you to start making reservations. To give you an idea about how the buffet looks like, here is our Photo Gallery so that you can familiarize yourself with the buffet presentation.

It’s not one particular restaurant that is mega in size. Here, size does not matter and so is the food quantity. What matter most is the overall quality of food that are presented on the buffet spread. For them, it’s all about Food that are Thoughtfully Sourced and Carefully Served. We wrote this article based on the thoughts of consumers and not writers. That one particular evening, we became that genuine diners, observing and tasting great foods that were served for Buka Puasa/Iftar diners at Tanjung Ria Kitchen, Hyatt Regency Kinabalu. It’s one memorable Iftar mainly because we were able to taste the real flavors in the food that we ate. The great dining experience was about that concoction of Food Quality and Dining Satisfaction.

Yes, we will be honest. We were invited to see what Selera Kampung has to offer to Iftar Diners. However, we were there, just the two of us, without supervision from any of the Hotel’s staff. We were given the liberty to judge for ourselves whether this particular Selera Kampung is great for Iftar Diners. We wrote this article without any influence from the hotel’s management. We came to a firm conclusion that Selera Kampung @ Sutera Harbour is the place for you to come and have Iftar. Here are 15 reasons to justify our findings (as to why you should have Iftar @ Selera Kampung: The Pacific Sutera Hotel’s Ballroom, Sutera Harbour).

That particular Briyani Gam station caught our attention. It’s that first impression that matters. Big whole Lamb with Briyani Rice were indeed the stars here, at least for us. It’s our first Iftar experience outside home this year. A dining experience that we will cherish for a very long time as the dishes were just amazing in numbers, taste and presentation. This is our Iftar experience at the famous Bazaar Ramadhan 2017 at Latest Recipe, by Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu.
