Kota Kinabalu, Sabah: 14 December, 2017

Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu’s 24/7 Operations Santa Jingle Belly kicked off with Santa trolling down the hotel’s grand staircase (from the 1st Floor Foyer to the Ground Floor) while the Christmas song ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’ was sang. Santa began collecting donations in kind (used and new), with his Jingle Belly Basket, from supportive hotel guests and hotel staff.

“The perfect Christmas tree? All Christmas Trees are perfect.”-Charles N.Barnard

Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu initiated the season’s festivities at the hotel with a choral performance by 15 children from Kinabalu International School. A Christmas tree lighting ceremony with about 70 invited guests held simultaneously provided an appreciative audience for the children who filled the air with magical tunes of Christmas Carols and 25 #deafjam performers who did a sign language flash mob at The Hub, lobby level.
