For Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa

This Ramadan month, diners in Kota Kinabalu city and its surrounding areas will have one great option to have their Buka Puasa at Tepi Laut Restaurant, Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort & Spa. This 5-star resort is spread across 400-acre of lush tropical garden and rainforest, boasting its amazing sunset view as well as it’s beautiful Dalit Beach. Have your preferred dishes for Buka Puasa while enjoying the impressive view of sunset as  Tepi Laut Restaurant is just next to Dalit Beach!

Curry House Stall

In full name, the restaurant is known as Tepi Laut Makan Street. This particular Makan Street is said to be capturing the nostalgia of Malaysia’s heritage of street food stalls and open-fronted shop-house restaurants. My advice, be ready to indulge in an absolute wide choice of high-quality foods as soon you arrive, you will have the hardest ‘task’ to pick your favourite stall. Or maybe, visit and ‘grab’ foods from all the stall!

Grilled Lamb

Curry House‘, ‘Sabah Vegetables’, ‘Asian Grill’, ‘Roti House’ and ‘Noodle & Chinese BBQ’ are must-visit stallsIf that’s not enough, head to the middle station where you get to see Chefs grilling that aromatic Satay as well slicing the best part of that Grilled Lamb, for you! While ‘Selera Kampung’ is about Malaysian cuisine, you won’t be disappointed as there are fusion, oriental, middle-east as well as western options.

Be amazed with the Chef’s skill in tossing that roti. Don’t just watch, do ask for your favourite roti and don’t forget that accompanying sauce of your choice, be it Dhal or that alluring curry.

Ikan Bakar

Exclusively for this ‘Selera Kampung’ buffet, Chef de Cuisine “Roslan Adnan” unveils his signature dishes such as beef rib rendang, kambing golek, ayam percik, nasi dagang, traditional Chicken Panso as well as ikan bakar served with his family’s secret recipe of coconut sambal and many more!

Dessert Station!

Beverage Station

Don’t miss that tempting dessert of many kinds, from Malay Kuih-Muih to international options. If you still have some space, why not go for a scoop or two of ice-cream, well more if you wish. It’s buffet anyway!

The ‘Selera Kampung’ Buffet is priced at RM158nett per adult and RM50nett per child (6-12 years old). Till 31 May 2018 though, diners may have the option for the Buy 3 Free 2 which means for every 3 pax paying the full price, another 2 pax will eat for free.
