In conjunction with Lunar New Year, Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu has organized a visit to Holy Family Residence old folks home at Purak, Papar. The home has a total number of 37 residents. Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu visited the home and brought along the food that was prepared by the associates.
The intention of the visit is to celebrate this auspicious Lunar New Year and together have lunch that was prepared by Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu associates with the elderlies. The associates enjoyed chit chat with the elderlies after lunch and then followed by the angpao and mandarin oranges giving ceremony by Siti Badrun.
Security manager, Siti Badrun said, “It was a wonderful feeling to bring joy to the residents. It is important to connect the younger generations to the older generations as we bring mutual respects to each other and appreciates the time that we have.”
